We went to check out a newly opened dog boarding & daycare place in our area. They are literally walking distance from our house. We filled out a card to win a free pet toy. That's how they got our info. We then started receiving phone calls and several e-mails from them to ''rate what our experience was,'' and to "come join the family." This is how we responded.
We know you are a new pet business that just opened. However, we go to JCM's Luxury Pet Resort for our dog's boarding. In contrast to what you offer, we like the fact that they give our dogs personalized attention. We also like the fact that our dogs have 24/7 access to their own personal indoor / outdoor runs when not playing in a big acre yard. The owners live on the property, and at no time are our dogs ever locked in small rooms with no one there.
Their Webcams are a plus since we travel a lot. We can watch our pets 24/7 from anywhere in the world.
Not that your place isn't great, but for our pets health, safety, and wellbeing, JCM's is our clear choice. We wouldn't trust anyone else with the care of our dogs. They don't come any better.

They were boarded there for 3 weeks and my healthy dogs were returned in deplorable condition. Thin, reeking, and their urine soaked beds handed to me in a plastic bag. To top it off, they had no clue that anything was even wrong. My dogs are 100% housebroken, so it must have been torture for them to soil themselves.
I came across JCM's Pet Resort and paid them a visit. Wow, what a difference. This place was clean, well managed, and the dogs there seemed happy and content. No barking at all.
I have used them several times now. Every time I pick up my dogs they are healthy, CLEAN, and well cared for, no matter how long the stay. I know they have a good time because they greet me then run back into the yard and start playing. I would never go anywhere else. Highly Recommend.

If, like me, you are tired of your dog getting beat up at doggie daycare, and leaving your dog where he is just one face in a sea of hundreds, then don't go anywhere else but to JCM's. My dog gets personalized care there. He gets to play with a small group in a huge yard. When he's not romping, he is relaxing in his own private room with an attached courtyard. This really is the best place.

I used JCM's Pet Boarding Kennel when they were in St. Bernard Parish. I went there because I felt they genuinely cared about every dog there. I didn't get the impression that this was just a business for owner, Jean. I liked the fact that she didn't do a lot of quantity but the quality was unsurpassed. I saw how she treated the pets. Lots of kindness and compassion. I was there on more than one occasion when people came to pick up their dogs. The dogs didn't want to leave. They have a nice, clean indoor area. She even has a luxury suite with a bed, a dresser, a night stand, and a TV. The dogs go out in a half acre play yard every few hours around the clock. She lets her boarders all play together when they are outside, like a doggie day care. My dog doesn't get along with other dogs, so he has his own separate yard. She doesn't even charge for all the extras she provides. The other thing I liked is that she lives about 30 feet from the kennel building. She also does dog training. I like that because I know she can handle the dogs. She moved to Covington, La. after the hurricane. She lost everything and I know she is trying to rebuild. Her setup is pretty much the same as before. I have to drive almost 2 hours to get there now, but I wouldn't go anywhere else. She is awesome.

My dog loved his stay at JCM's Pet Boarding. He watched TV the whole time he was in the suite.

Jean is not only an excellent dog trainer, but she is awesome when it comes to pet boarding. She is always going above and beyond for the happiness and well-being of the pets that stay there. It's just a shame that she is having to start over after the hurricane wiped her out. I commend her for evacuating with over 50 dogs that were in her care. Before you go anywhere else, check her out.
